On Wednesday at lunch is our first meeting of the West Christian Fellowship. It will be in C345, Ms. Symonds-White's room. Everyone is welcome!

The One Stop Warrior Shop is now open on the third floor!  Come check out the merchandise in room C352: west wear, school supplies, personal items.  Drop by and let us know what other items you would like to see.

Grade 12 students interested in being sponsored for the Loran Scholarship must submit a letter to guidance outlining the following: strong academic performance (minimum cumulative average of 85%) , strong character, commitment to serving others, leadership, independent thinking, and a willingness to take meaningful risks.  Students must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident. Deadline is Monday, October 3rd at 3:20 PM. Halifax West High is exploring the idea of building a life-size 3D Scanner using the Raspberry Pi. So, if you have an interest in programming, networking computers, using the Raspberry Pi or managing technical projects please consider participating in this exciting new project.

For students and staff interested in this new project you are invited to an introductory meeting today at lunch in Mr. Watt's Room (A310).
Students interested in going on to post-secondary studies are invited to sign up for information workshops offered by the guidance department. These workshops will be offered over all blocks in various locations.
