Halifax West Multicultural Show: Tickets are on sale now for the Halifax West Multicultural Show. Tickets are $2.00 per person and are available in the main office. The Multicultural Show takes place on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30 pm in the Bella Rose Theatre. Don’t miss this exciting West tradition!
Duke of Ed students! There will be a meeting to begin talking about and planning for our spring expeditions on Tuesday at lunch in Mr. Chiasson's room, C344. If you need an expedition at any level, please come to the meeting as we will begin our initial training.
There will be a very quick boys soccer meeting tomorrow, Tuesday at lunch in room C146.
Bowlathon forms are due in the main office no later than Thursday.
This year's prom dodgeball is around the corner. You can sign up on the prom bulletin board upstairs. Each member must pay a $5.00 entrance fee and the teams can be between 5-6 players.
The library will be closed on Friday December 2nd in the afternoon to allow the art students to prepare for an amazing new mural. There will be no access after lunch. Thanks for you cooperation.
December 1 is world aids day. GSA students will be working to raise awareness about AIDS and the global spread of HIV virus.
Please drop by the cafeteria on Thursday to see their display and get your red ribbon. There will be a bake sale and all monies will be donated to the AIDS coalition of Nova Scotia.
There will be a brief but mandatory meeting for all students going to WE Day this Wednesday. It is today in Mrs. Skelhorn's room, C340, at 12:40. There are a couple of tickets remaining. See Mrs. Skelhorn if you are interested.
Congratulations to our girl’s hockey team who won the Ultramar Classic Hockey Tournament this past weekend. The girl’s defeated Sir John A 5-0 in the final. Congratulations girls!
Congratulations to girls’ basketball team winning the Halifax Grammar classic. They went undefeated 4-0 and won the final 86-80. Alex Doane 27 pts, Shakira Emmerson 19pts, and Emma Garrigan and Haley Kardas each with 17pts.
