Halifax West coffee houses are back ladies and gents. Wednesday March 29th at 7 pm get ready to enjoy some wicked entertainment and even perform yourself! The sign up list is posted in the arts pod.

Calling on all grade 11 leaders! Co-president application forms will be available in the office at the end of the day today. Make sure to pick one up and apply!

Applications for The Jordan Boyd Leadership Award and Scholarship are now being accepted for the 2017 Awards.  If you are involved in Amateur Hockey and would like more information, please see the poster outside of the Guidance Office on the bulletin board.

The senior baby photo deadline has been extended until today.  Please email the picture to hwhsyearbook2017@gmail.com.

Sibling pictures will be taken in room A283 today at lunch.
Attention graduating students the scholarship database is live and graduating students can now apply for the Halifax West Internal Awards via the Guidance Website.  The deadline for applicants is Friday, April 7th.

Attention Grade 10 and 11's! Halifax West plans to travel to France and Spain next March Break! Highlights will include Paris and Barcelona!  The trip will be officially launched on Monday during a meeting at the beginning of lunch in Room B324.  Trip details will be revealed, and you can secure your spot on a first come, first served basis as early as Monday night.

The Learning Centre is planning to build the first greenhouse built of recycled materials.
You can help by bringing in all 2L clear or green pop bottles.  If every student at Halifax West brought in 1 2L pop bottle, we would have almost enough. We need 2000 bottles for our project.   Thanks for your help!
