Attention grade 12 student’s grad forms have been given to B block teachers and will be passed out on Tuesday.  If you do not get a form please pick one up in the main office.  Forms are due in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, June 6th.

May 31st is the last coffee house ladies and gentlemen. Your last chance to get up on the stage is coming up soon at 7:00 on Wednesday night! Don't miss it. The sign up list is up in the arts pod.

Next Thursday, June 1st, the breakfast program here at Halifax West is holding a spaghetti dinner at the lower deck on Lacewood Drive! It will be from 5-9pm and tickets are $10.00 at the door. Along with the dinner there will be entertainment from West students. Come out and support the Halifax West breakfast program!

On Wednesday, May 31 the Dalhousie Advising Team will be assisting students in the seminar room from 10 am - 3 pm.  They will not be available over the lunch hour.

All boys who participated on the boys "A" soccer team and are interested in acquiring championship swag are asked to see Mr. Iatrou at lunch today in C146.  The team order will be placed today.

Congratulations to the Halifax West Track & Field Team for an excellent showing at the Regional Championships.  The Senior Girls Team and the Intermediate Girls Team placed 2nd overall. The Senior Boys team captured the Regional Banner!

Outstanding Individual results include: Raheem Elliott 1st in Triple Jump and 2nd in 100m, Dina Gomiero 1st in hurdles, Yasmina Hashem 1st in Long Jump, 2nd in 100m and Shot Put Samantha Henneberry  1st in High Jump, 2nd in Triple Jump Josee MacDonald  1st in Shot Put Renee MacLeod  1st in Javelin Senior Girls 4X 400 1st place

Overall, results were awesome! Well Done!  Results will be posted Monday outside the gym office.  Athletes are reminded to pay their fees.  If you placed in the top 4, permission slips are due by Wednesday May 31st to Ms. Duggan.  Good Luck at Provincials!
