Grade twelve student who plan to attend a post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada, demonstrate academic excellence and athletic involvement, particularly in minor sports are eligible to apply for the Beth Renouf Scholarship. Please note: preference will be given to students who have engaged in teaching, mentoring or coaching activities and whose future plans follow a similar vein. Application forms are available in the guidance office and are due back Thursday, June 8th.

Attention grade 12 student’s grad forms are due in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, June 6th.

Music students please note that the concert band will have its dress rehearsal for the final concert tomorrow during A block.

The jazz band will rehearse during second B block tomorrow (third period)and the string ensemble will rehearse in the theater last period tomorrow during C block.

If there are any grade 12 students who would like to sing a song or perform a piece at graduation please see Mr. Burtt in the music room.

Congratulations to the Halifax West Track & Field team for an excellent showing at the Provincial Track & Field Meet this past week-end.  Highlights include Raheem Elliott taking a Gold in Triple Jump, Dina Gomeiero taking Bronze in Hurdles, Yasmina Hashem taking Gold in Long Jump and Bronze in 100m. We had lots of 4th and 5th places. Well done everyone. Results will be posted by the gym on Tuesday.

All track Athletes are reminded they can return their spikes and singlets starting on Tuesday.
