AUDITION CALL - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5 and THURSDAY DECEMBER 7 (and THURSDAY DECEMBER 14) - HRCE Student Performance Opportunity - Shakespeare’s Macbeth

• Shakespeare’s Macbeth, directed by Drew Douris-O'Hara and Jade Douris-O'Hara from Shakespeare by the Sea

• Open to All HRCE High School Students. We are looking for actors, as well as musicians, composers and set, costume and stage management crew.
• Auditions: Tuesday December 5 or Thursday December 7 (plus the Thursday, December 14 Shakespeare 101 Boot Camp) - 6-9 pm - Cole Harbour District High School
• How to Audition: Prepare a speech from Shakespeare, consisting of between 10-20 lines. This monologue does not have to be memorized, BUT, you should be very comfortable with reading it. (The sign-up form has a link to sample monologues)
• Musicians and Composers: Sign up for an audition and come ready to play (bring your instrument).
• You do not need to audition for set, costume and stage management crew. You will, however, be expected to attend the December 14 Boot Camp. Please complete the audition form and indicate that you are interested in a non-acting role.
• Show Dates: Thursday, May 16, Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22, 2024
