Any grade twelve students interested in going to Acadia University on Friday, November 18th, please come to the Guidance Office to pick up forms.

Are you interested in studying for a year overseas? The local Rotary Club is looking for students to apply to the Rotary Exchange Program. Come to C345 on Monday at lunch to hear from a former Halifax West student and his year in France. Then there is a general information meeting for interested students and their parents on Monday night from 7-9 pm at Citadel High School in Room 101, just off the Trollope Street entrance.  See Ms. Symonds-White for more details.  See you today at lunch!

Congratulations to the boy’s hockey team on their 5-2 win over Cole Harbour on Saturday night.  Spencer Dimmer scored twice for the Warriors while Aidan Sampson, Massimo Spensieri, and Ryan Maunder all scored once.  Lucasz Kolanko earned the win in nets.  The boys take on Dartmouth tomorrow night, Sackville on Thursday and Citadel on Saturday.  Good luck to our hockey Warriors.

The boys "A" soccer team successfully defended their Provincial Division 1 championship with a 3-0 win over archival Park View Panthers from Bridgewater.  Speed, physicality and team commitment were the determining factors in the big win.  After convincingly beating Halifax city rivals Citadel 6-1 in the semifinal game on Friday key goals by Enrico Rodriguez and Ayoub Alarabi and key saves by Armando Bocaneala in key moments led the Warriors to Saturdays championship win.  The coaching staff would like to congratulate and salute this years seniors for their commitment to the soccer program Enrico Rodriguez, Dan Gagic, Kai Trappenburg, Peter Fountoukis, Tahgae Spencer and John Saleh, best of luck in the future.

The players are reminded of an important meeting Tuesday at lunch in room C146.

There will be a GSA drama production meeting on Thursday at lunch in room C228.

All student government members are reminded to that money and forms for the upcoming student government retreat are due to the main office no later than this Thursday Nov. 10.
