Grade twelve students if you are interested in going to Acadia on November 18th, please bring your forms to the Guidance Office ASAP.  The seats are filling up.

Last Thursday’s Scholarships/Student loans workshop that was cancelled due to the Remembrance Day ceremony has been rescheduled: it will be Wednesday, Nov. 16 during 2nd C in room C325.

Congratulations to the boy’s hockey team on their 5-4 win Saturday over Citadel. Richie Abbass, Patrick Oxner, Josh Comeau, Spencer Dimmer, and Ben Penrose scored the goals and Brendon Keeler earned the win in nets.  Good luck to the boy’s tomorrow night in a 1st vs 2nd place game in Cole Harbour vs Auburn Drive.

Congratulations to your Warriors football team who defeated Sackville High last night 52-42. Players of the game were Elias Gossen and Liam McGrath who combined for 5 touchdown passes. The team will play for the tier 2 provincial championship this Saturday at Huskies Stadium. Details to follow later in the week.

Multicultural Fashion show practice today at lunch in the Theater back door.

Attention all warriors. The signup sheet for this year’s prom dodge ball tournament is now posted on the bulletin board by the gym. Each team must consist of 5 members and there must be at least one girl. There is an entrance fee of $5 per teammate.

Student Price Cards are being sold this Thursday in the caf at lunch for $10. Don’t forget to come buy one and get great discounts at all of your favorite stores.

Today afterschool there will be a prom committee meeting in room C149. Everyone is welcome!

Tonight at 7pm is the girls’ basketball home opener! Come on out and cheer on our Warriors!

There will be a drama production group meeting for the GSA on Thursday at lunch in room C228.

There will be DELF practice exercises today at lunch in room C145 for those students that  will be writing the DELF exam next week.

On Friday, November 25th the guidance department will be taking grade 12 students on a tour of St. Mary’s University.  The bus will leave here shortly after 9 am and return before the end of the school day.  Students will have the opportunity to apply and have the application fees waived.  In previous years these applications were reviewed onsite and students where offered scholarships that same day.  If you are interested in joining us, please come to the guidance office to get the paperwork required.  The first students to return the completed paperwork will be added to the bus.  Space is limited so you must return you paperwork by November 23rd.
