Attention string players.  Please note that string ensemble will start next Tuesday morning at 8:00am in the music room.  All string players are welcome.

Best Buddy applications are in the office. Remember to hand in your application no later than Thursday, September 14th as interviews will be held Friday, September 15th and Monday, September 18th at lunch time in Mme Haywards room.

Today at lunch is our semi-annual root beer mile! Make sure to bring some spare change, as there will be a barbecue outside as well. Come out and cheer on your fellow warriors!

Our first spirit week of the year, Welcome Week, continues next week with our Fruit by the Foot Challenge taking place on Monday, September 11th at lunch in the caf. Tuesday will be jersey day, and Wednesday there will be another spirit game in the caf at lunch: Tenner Trivia.

Want to get involved with Student Government? Grade 10 rep applications are available in the main office, and are due back on Monday, September 11th at 8:30am. 

Attention Grade 10! Halifax West will travel to France and Spain next March Break! Highlights will include Paris, Vimy Ridge and Barcelona!  There will be an information meeting to discuss trip details on Monday at the beginning of lunch in Room B324. Limited spots are available, so you can secure your spot on a first come, first served basis as early as Monday night. ​​

The cafeteria is looking for two students to help out in the cafeteria at lunch.  The café is offering free lunch up to $5.00 for the student(s) chosen for the position.
