Halifax West High School has recently received a grant to design and build a Life-Size 3D Scanner. This project will make use of the popular single-board computer Raspberry Pi 3 and the 8-megapixel Pi Camera to capture and process 40 high-resolution images to create a 3D digital file that may later be sent to a 3D printer, placed in a digital animation game or presented as a virtual model for art class. The project will be launched next week and we are holding an important meeting today at lunch in Mr. Watt's Class A310.  So, if you are interested in assisting with this amazing project please attend and like to design, build, code, create video and work collaborative team setting to meet a common goal, please drop by today at lunch ROOM A310. If you are unable to make the meeting today please see Mr. Watt in A310 at your convenience.

Come on out and support your Warriors football team as they take on Sackville High in the Tier 2 provincial semi-final Sunday 7:00 pm at Mainland Common.

Attention all warriors. The signup sheet for this year’s prom dodge ball tournament is now posted on the bulletin board by the gym. Each team must consist of 5 members and there must be at least one girl. There is an entrance fee of $5.00 per teammate.
